MBA operates on a 6 day rotating schedule with core academics including Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science and World Languages taught on a quarterly basis.
Other unique components of the schedule consist of the following:

Double period of Language Arts (84 minutes).

Unified Arts program (Art, Technology, and Life Skills) on a trimester basis.

World Language 7th Grade:

Spanish: Spanish A is the first of two sequential courses in which students will complete the equivalent of the high school level one program. Throughout the year, students will encounter the language through a variety of methods and will be introduced to cultural differences around the world. This course meets every day of the 6-day rotation. Students who successfully complete the Level A course with a 75% or better will continue on to take the Level B course in 8th grade to earn high school credit in Spanish 1 and proceed on to Spanish 2 in 9th grade. Students who score below a 75% in Spanish A will continue with Spanish A, Part 2 and have the opportunity to earn high school Introduction to Spanish credit in 8th grade and move on to Spanish 1 in 9th grade

Students who successfully complete the Level A course with a 70% or better will continue on to take the Level B course in 8th grade to earn high school French 1 credit.

Four High School Level Classes: Intro to Spanish, French 1 or Spanish 1, and Algebra 1.

Band and Chorus (gr. 6, 7 & 8) meet everyday (elective).

Team Planning Time for Teachers (42 min. per day).

Learning Centers for 42 minutes once every 6 days.
